1) Conformance Target

Metrolux Solutions Inc. ("Metrolux," "we," "us") builds and maintains metrolux.net, it.metrolux.net and led.metrolux.net to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium at https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/.

No federal regulation sets a detailed technical standard for private business websites. The United States Department of Justice has no regulation setting detailed standards for places of public accommodation, and its March 2022 guidance says businesses "can currently choose how they will ensure" that what they offer online is accessible. We chose WCAG 2.1 Level AA because the Department adopted it in 2024 for state and local government websites and has named it in its settlement agreements with private businesses. It is also a published specification, so these pages can be tested against it.

2) Conformance Status

The web pages within the scope described in Section 3 are built and tested to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in both English and Spanish.

Accessibility is checked on every change. A set of automated checks is run before publishing and has to pass: they assert that the skip link reaches a target that can take focus, that headings run in order with one h1 per page, that every image carries alt text, that the Spanish pages say what the English ones say, and that the page still delivers all of its content with JavaScript switched off. The things a machine cannot judge are measured by hand after any change of colour or layout: contrast against the colour actually behind the glyphs, target size, reflow at 320 pixels, and any text sitting over a photograph.

The most recent assessment was carried out by Metrolux on 12 September 2026.

The web content technologies relied upon are HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. The words on every page are there without scripting: the collapsible blocks are sent to you open and are folded by a rule only a running script can match, With JavaScript switched off, the whole page is still delivered.

3) Scope of This Claim

This statement covers the web pages served at the three addresses named in Section 1. Two categories of material sit outside the claim. Each has an equivalent inside it:

  • Downloadable documents. Each field report is published as a web page and also as a PDF. The web page is the conforming version and covers the same incident; the PDF is the report as delivered to the client, a longer and separate document rather than a transcription of the page. The PDFs carry a structure tree, a declared language and a written description of every screenshot, so a screen reader can read them in order and is told what each piece of evidence shows. They have been validated against PDF/UA-1 with veraPDF and pass all 106 of the rules that tool can check, and they declare that conformance. Those 106 are what veraPDF implements, not the whole of the standard: ISO 14289-1 also sets requirements no software can judge on its own. Every word, screenshot and link sits inside the structure tree. Sections carry heading levels, so a report can be navigated section by section. The fonts are embedded, so the text does not depend on what is installed on your machine. Repeating page furniture is marked as decoration rather than read out on every page. If anything in one reads wrongly for you, or you would rather have it in another format, tell us under Section 4 and we will send it.
  • Material served by third parties. The map in our contact section is served by Google and is not under our control. It does not load until you accept cookies or select it. The same information, our address and our telephone number, appears as text in the same section.

Material outside this claim is available in an accessible format on request under Section 4.

4) Feedback; Requests for an Alternative Format

If any part of these websites is difficult to use, or if you require any material in an alternative format, contact us and describe what you were trying to do:

We acknowledge within 10 business days. Where a correction is straightforward, we make it and confirm when it is published. Where it is not, we tell you what is being done and give you a date. Material you need before then is sent to you directly, in the format you ask for where we are able to produce it.

5) Compatibility

These websites are built for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

6) Review

A full review is carried out at least annually, and after any redesign. The date of the most recent assessment is given in Section 2.
